Karachi- Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain strongly condemned the ongoing petrol crisis in Pakistan and attributed it to the ‘serious incompetency’ of the government.

In a statement issued from the MQM’s London Secretariat, he appealed to higher judiciary and Pakistan Army to play a role to resolve the crisis, adding, “Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif alone cannot do anything in this connection. Instead, people hailing from all walks of life should concertedly steer the country out of this critical situation.”

“Karachi is a financial hub of the country and to save Karachi means to save Pakistan. The Sindh government has totally failed to provide security and protection to the people." said Hussain.
