The public faced with great hardships due to unavailability of petrol at majority of filling stations. Citizens with vehicles and motorbikes have been running from one filling station to other to find petrol with no luck. Most of the petrol pumps are closed while the few that are opened have long queues waiting for their turn.
The public transport service mostly remained suspended, increasing vows of people to reach their destination. Citizens have demanded strict action against those responsible for causing short supply of fuel.
