Islamabad - Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Qamar Zaman Chaudhry approved the posting and transfers of three Director Generals of the bureau with immediate effect.

Husnain Ahmed, Director General (BS-21) NAB Lahore has been transferred to NAB Headquarters, Islamabad as DG Training and Research, Mohammad Altaf Bawany, (BS-21) DG Training and Research, NAB Headquarters has been transferred to Sindh province as DG NAB in Sukkar.

Sqn Ldr (Retd) Tariq M. Nadeem, (BS-20) Director NAB Rawalpindi has been transferred and posted as Director NAB Multan. He has also been given additional charge of DG NAB Multan.

Earlier, Chairman NAB visited the under construction building of the office for NAB Headquarters Islamabad. He reviewed the physical progress made on the ground and inspected the quality and construction work of the project.

Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry directed DG NAB, DG PWD, CDA and contractor to complete the remaining construction work of the project according to schedule. He said that there would be no compromise on the quality of material, construction work and all codal formalities in tendering/award of remaining work etc should be completed accordingly as per Government policy/law.  The chairman will next visit on February 16, 2015 for reviewing the physical progress of the project.

During the briefing, it was informed by DG NAB, DG, PWD, officers of CDA and contractor that in the light of the directions of Chairman’s last visit of the site on December 15, 2014, the construction work is continue with full pace and structure of the basement, lower ground floor, ground floor and 1st floor has been completed as per schedule.

The chairman NAB directed that efforts should be made to complete the 2nd floor on February 16, 2015, 3rd floor on March 19, 2015, 4th floor on April 20,2015 and 5th floor on May 10, 2015  ensuring all quality standards as per schedule. The chairman NAB will next visit on February 16, 2015 for reviewing the physical progress of the project.
