TOBA TEK SINGH

The eighth census will start in district Toba Tek Singh in March.
Chairing a meeting regarding arrangements for the census here on Monday, DCO Amir Ejaz Akbar said that the district would be divided into 1,696 blocks while assistant commissioners would supervise the process of census in their respective tehsils.
He informed that all the members to be deployed would be given training for the purpose in February and each of them would be paid Rs1,000 per day remuneration during the duty. ADC Zeshan Shabbir Rana and ACs of all four tehsils of the district also attended the meeting.
