MARDAN: Security officers today obtained samples of nearly 200 suspects for a DNA test in four-year-old Asma’s rape and murder case.

The culprits involved in Asma’s murder are still at large. A 72-hour deadline was given to the local administration by jirga members has expired today.

A four-year-old girl was found dumped in a junkyard in the Jandarpar Gujjar Garhi area of Mardan four days ago. Reportedly, she went missing while playing outside her house a week ago. Her body was found from a sugarcane field the next day after she went missing but local police have failed to make a breakthrough so far.
