OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab Sirdar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa has said the Software Technology Park, constructed on the Ferozepur Road, will soon be made functional. All facilities relating to information technology will become available to computer companies in the park and Lahore will emerge as the new Bangalore in the world with regard to software development, he said, while presiding over a meeting of Punjab Information Technology Board on Tuesday. Special Secretary Finance Imdad Ullah, Secretary Planning & Development, Chairman PITB Dr. Javed Ghani and Member PITB Ibrahim Qureshi were also present in the meeting. Matters regarding development of information technology were discussed in the meeting. The meeting was informed that development work of software Technology Park had been completed and electricity and gas would soon be provided. Khosa directed Chairman PITB that park should be made functional as soon as possible.
