LAHORE - Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal has convened Punjab Assembly session on July 22 (Friday) at 3 pm to discuss law and order situation in the province. Being summoned on the requisition of the Opposition, this would be 28th session of the Assembly. The joint opposition in the Punjab Assembly had requisitioned the session to discuss the incident of recent aerial firing in PML-Ns rally at Faisalabad and general law and order in the province. The requisition was submitted by opposition leader Raja Riaz on Tuesday last. The government, which was also planning to convene Assembly session in the last week of July with its own agenda, has decided to call the assembly meeting on Oppositions requisition.
