KARACHI - The Sindh government has handed over SM Science College to its mother institution Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) after 39 years. A notification in this regard issued her the other day.
While talking to the senior management of SMIU on Friday after receiving the notification in respect of merger of SM Science College to SMIU, Dr Muhammad Ali Shaikh, SMIU Vice Chancellor, said the name of the SM Science College shall remain same. Similarly, the academic programmes which are being run at the college presently would also be continued.
“In addition to it, BBA, MBA and PhD courses would be added to the college. The faculty and staff members, who shall continue to work with the college under the administrative control of SMIU, would be given additional one grade,” he added. He thanked to the Sindh government by giving SM Science College back to SMIU.
