LAHORE-Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi claimed that Pakistan Awami Tehreek leader, Dr Tahi- ul-Qadri will not even come forward to face him in a `Manazra' (open debate).
Ashrafi laid down this claim while glossing on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Pervaiz Rahseed’s statement,
Minster for Information & Broadcasting, Pervaiz Rahseed had said that Ashrafi could ‘single-headedly’ outwit Dr Qadri in a `Manazra' and required no assistance from any PML-N leader.
To a question, Ashrafi said there was a dire need to hold Manazra with Dr Qadri over many issues, including certain political ones.
He urged the media and political leaders to pit him against Dr Qadri in a live debate. Ashrafi minced no words alleging that Qadri was on ‘Mission Anarchy’.
"Qadri’s visit to Pakistan was all about sowing the seeds of chaos", said he without giving any details about it.
