Islamabad - Islamabad police have arrested ten outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 2.685 kilograms hashish, 153 litres of liquor, beer and stolen items from their possession, a police spokesman said yesterday. He said that Aabpara police nabbed Bilal and Akram Masih and recovered a total of 1.435 kilograms hashish from them. Secretariat police arrested three thieves identified as Hasam, Faisal Afzal and Mehtab, and recovered stolen items from them. Another accused identified as Rab Nawaz was held by Secretariat police for having a 12-bore gun while Karachi Company police apprehended Fahad Ali for having 1250 grams hashish. Kohsar police nabbed Shamshad Masih and Nadeem alias Nomi and recovered 150 litres of liquor and 10 cans of beer from them.
Koral police arrested Tabish and recovered three litres liquor from him. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is under way.
Meanwhile, Sihala police during a search operation in various areas nabbed 14 suspects who are also being investigated further.
