Modi’s friends betrayal of Kashmiris unacceptable in Pakistan: Sirajul Haq

ISLAMABAD: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq has said that a government which professed friendship with Indian Premier Narendra Modi and betrayed the Kashmiris was not acceptable in Pakistan.

Addressing the Jehad-e-Kashmir caravan organized by the Jamaat ud Dawa here on Wednesday, Sirajul Haq said that the rulers who were sending gifts to Modi were nullifying the sacrifices being made by the Kashmiris for the solidarity and existence of this country.

He said that the exchange of artists and cultural troupes with India was tantamount to rubbing salt on the wound of the Kashmiris. He said that the Indian generals were admitting that they were losing the war in Kashmir

The JI chief said that some people in the country hated Jehad and the Mujahideen.

However, he said, these people should remember that Jehad was destined to last till the Day of Judgment. He suggested that those who hated Jehad should cross over to India.

“We want rulers like Salahud Din Ayubi, Mehmud Ghaznvi and Muhamamd bin Qasim in this country”, he added.

Sirajul Haq said that the martyrdom of Burhan Wani had infused a new life among the Kashmiri people. He said the Kashmiris were fighting not for Kashmir but for Pakistan.

He said the entire world was hearing the cries of the innocent Kashmiri children and women but the rulers in Islamabad were deaf and dumb and were not ready to raise a vice against the brutalities of the Indian forces in Held Kashmir.

“We want to give a message to the Kashmiri leaders Syed Ali Gilani, Mir Waiz Farooq and others that the entire Pakistani nation is with them and the day was not far when the sun of independence would dawn over Srinagar,” he added.

The JI chief also called upon the UN to implement its resolution on Kashmir in order to regain the confidence of the world community.
