Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has claimed that banned organisations, which are against his party, have gone into an electoral alliance with two major political parties of Pakistan.

While addressing a press conference on Friday, the PPP chairman explained that the alliance was between banned organisation and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Bilawal claimed that the alliance between them was evident in Malir District of Karachi.

“We have to put an end to extremism in politics,” the PPP chief said, adding that Pakistani politicians need to think about the message they are giving to the world.

He further said that the warm welcome he received everywhere in Pakistan proved his party’s popularity and is evidence of the fact that our democracy is filled with several issues.

“There is hope for positive politics in the country,” the PPP leader added. He said that his party would pursue politics of federation irrespective of the election result.

Bilawal also claimed that PML-N believes in selection rather than election, adding that the forthcoming polls should be transparent. “The election should not be made controversial by facilitating a few political parties and allies,” he said.

The PPP chief is scheduled to arrive in Karachi today (Friday) to lead rallies in different areas of the metropolis.
