Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has expressed his gratitude to the people of central Punjab for giving a rapturous welcome to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Zardari said that the warm welcome extended to Bilawal proves that Punjab belonged to PPP and will forever remain so. “The anti-Bhutto elements are perplexed and dejected by this ecstatic welcome. Everyone who loves Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto is with PPP and Bilawal. They are loyal to Bhuttos,” the former president said.

The PPP co-chairman instructed the party workers to remain active and deliver the message and manifesto of Bilawal to the people. “Restoration of constitution to its original form and provincial autonomy were the missions of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, which was fulfilled by the PPP government,” he added.

He further said that now our mission is to eliminate poverty, unemployment and extremism from the country. He said that PPP has always served the marginal stratum of society and Benazir Income Support Program has reduced the problems of poor women of Pakistan.

Zardari said that Punjab has once again raised slogans of Bhuttos and this is the message of victory. He said that PPP’s opposition can clearly see their defeat written on the wall. Zardari said that a progressive and prospering Pakistan was the dream of Benazir and the party will continue striving to achieve this goal.
