PESHAWAR - One person was killed and five policemen including a sub-inspector and three passers by were injured in a bomb blast in Dera Ismail Khan on Saturday. According to details, a police mobile van was targeted through a remote-controlled bomb, planted on roadside in Sheikh Yousuf area, which injured eight persons including five policemen. The injured were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ). However, out of the nine injured, one Zamurad Khan, who was seriously injured, breathed his lost. Soon after the incident, police reached on the spot and cordoned off the site. The police officials confirmed that the bomb was planted on the roadside by unknown miscreants which exploded when a police vehicle was passing through.
