ISLAMABAD Sadan-ul-Haq moved to the semi-final of the boys junior under-18 in the Subh-e-Nau National Tennis Tournament here at the PTF Tennis Complex on Saturday. Usman Rafique gave tough time to Sadan-ul-Haq in the first set before losing the game. He came back strongly in the second set at 7-6. Experienced Sadan, however, kept his nerves and clinched the decider set by 6-4. In second quarter-final, Jibran-ul-Haq defeated Sajid Ali in yet another close contest. Ahmed Ch lost his match to Faizan Khurram in straight sets. Heera Ashiq beat M Abid by 6-2 and 6-0. In u-14 category, Kashan-ul-Haq beat Numayal Ali by 4-2 and 4-2 to qualify for the semi-final. Other players, who joined Kashan, were Saad Zafar, Zaid Mujahid and Hasnain Manzoor. Sadan-ul-Haq will face Jibran-ul-Haq in the first semi-final while Heera Ashiq will play against Faizan Khurram in the second game on Sunday. In u-14, Kashan will play against Saad Zafar while Zaid Mujahid will face Hasnain Manzoor. Finals of the tournament will be played on Monday.
