ISLAMABAD - Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) and Export Processing Zone Authority (EPZA) have vowed to work together for the establishment of Export Processing Zone in the federal Capital.According to a statement issued here, a meeting between the newly appointed Vice Chairman EPZA, Zahid Iqbal and acting President ICCI, Asad Farid was held here on Tuesday to discuss the benefits and probabilities of the establishment of Export Processing Zone.During the meeting it was decided that a briefing in this regard would be given to Senior Minister for Industries, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi on his return to the country. Zahid Iqbal said that as a Senior Industries Minister, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi was taking special measures to enhance country’s exports and foreign investment.Meanwhile, the Vice Chairman EPZA, has assured that a special pavilion would be made by the EPZA at the National Industrial Exhibition organized by the ICCI.
