PESHAWAR – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter and former Secretary Information Saad Abdullah on Tuesday said that the party membership drive will be completed by June 30.

Addressing a news conference here at the Press Club, the PTI leader said that a schedule for the party election has been issued, according to which elections process will be completed till September 6. He added that party elections would be held without any delay, for which the line of action has also been prepared.

Flanked by PTI leader Engg Hamidul Haq and Israr Bacha, Saad claimed that for the first time in the history of the country, a party is being holding its internal election from union council level upto federal level. Workers have been fully empowered to use their power of vote and bring leaders according to their wishes, he said and rejected the negative propaganda about delay in the party election.

He informed that like in the province membership drive is being carried out across the country, in which thousands of people took part trough SMS. He said that in the district level and federal level election workers would give their choice at a ballot paper.
