RAWALPINDI  - Punjab Teachers Union has threatened to launch protest movement against establishment of district education authorities in all districts of Punjab.
Punjab teachers’ union central president Syed Sajjad Akbar Kazmi presided the meeting of the educators regarding establishment of district education authorities and amalgamation of the primary boys and girls schools in order to start coeducation.
Members of the teachers union said that government has been conducting experiments in education department since independence of Pakistan but owing to poor policies all such experiments fell short to achieve goals. Syed Sajjad said Punjab teachers union would never accept establishment of district education authorities and would resist it till the annulment of the decision.
