ISLAMABAD- Defence Secretary, Lt. Gen. (Retd) Asif Yasin Malik is scheduled to visit Bahrain on June 22.

During the visit, Lt. Gen. Malik will discuss certain issues with the NAVCENT Commander regarding Piracy, Maritime Terrorism and counter Narcotics Operation at seas; this will include Pakistan Navy’s participation in Combined Task Forces. The Defence Secretary will also board the Pakistan Navy Ship participating in OEF in North Arabian Seas as part of Combined Task Force.

He will avail this opportunity by calling on the appropriate officials of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the promotion of bilateral defence relations between the two Muslim states.
