He is perhaps most well-known for his role as The Terminator. But, not content with thrilling fans on screen, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger took that a step further when he paid a visit to the famous Madame Tussauds in Hollywood, recently.
The action here, 67, pranked unwitting film fans by posing as the mannequin of his T-800 alter ego - before suddenly stunning them by ‘coming to life’. The fun-loving screen star, who has also been the Governor of California during his illustrious career, took part in the practical joke in a bid to highlight his charity After-School All-Stars. In the footage, which he uploaded via video on Thursday, countless movie buffs were seen posing with the apparent waxwork, before being terrified when he recites one of his catchphrases - or, worse, moving. Both adults and youngsters alike could be seen screaming and flinching - before descending into laughter at the relief of it all.
Dressed faithfully as the half-man, half-machine robot, Arnold’s look included the trademark aviator sunglasses, the grey T-shirt, black leather jacket and matching trousers.  Even his face was adorned with stage make-up to give the impression of injuries.  Together, the effect was an impressive one - with no guests at the famous wax museum seeing through the hilarious set-up. Speaking about the video footage on Reddit, Arnold said: ‘Last year I learned that the more fun I have promoting after-school all-stars, the more fun you have watching and the more you get engaged.
‘So it’s my Trojan horse - I do ridiculous things and have a great time, but I get you to pay attention to something really close to my heart. ‘This isn’t a vanity project - I know the power of after-school programs in kids’ lives and that’s why I started After-School All-Stars more than 25 years ago. ‘I’ve talked to teachers, police officers, parents, and most importantly, the kids themselves and I’ve never seen such unanimous agreement.

‘But still, some politicians mess around with the funding because the kids don’t have a high-paid lobbyist like all of the adults do and their parents are too busy working to fight. ‘70 percent of households include two working parents, so 70 percent of our kids lack the supervision and growth and love from 3-6pm that they deserve and need.’
