Through your esteemed newspaper, I want to draw attention of G.M Railways that as per orders of Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Senior Citizens have been awarded the facility of paying half the ticket money while traveling through trains. But the reservation offices have not demonstrated in the form of flexes in reservation offices neither do they tell the passengers about this facility and are charging full fare.  

Recently we traveled from Lahore to Karachi and back, but we paid full fare. When another passenger mentioned this and asked for half fare, he was charged half the fare but when my husband mentioned this and asked for half the fare the reservation girl said that as your ticket has been made with full fare, we cannot pay half the money. It is therefore requested that this facility provided by the P. Government should be return in broad writing on flexes in reservation rooms and also the reservation people should guide the passengers as many elderly people are illiterate.
