Fawad says applications review process to continue against distribution of tickets

To award tickets to aspirants of general elections in more constituencies and a process continues to review the applications pertaining to distribution of tickets.

Talking to media PTI Secretary Information, Fawad Chaudhry has said that the review process on most of the applications in some constituencies has been completed by the Party Board.

He revealed that party has decided to change the candidates in some constituencies and a final announcement in this regard will be made on Thursday.

Fawad Chaudhry has also expressed hope that all disputes will be solved before the announcement of final list.

In this context to a question on the number of protesters outside the residence of Imran Khan at Banigala, he said that it is not possible to satisfy each and every member of the party.

On contact with PTI member Ishaq Khakwani, he said that most of the complaints were not of sincere in nature and in most of the applicants claimed that tickets have been awarded keeping in view the timeframe of attachment to the party.

However he said that some complaints were of sincere nature which have been addressed upon.

Ishaq Khawani who is a candidate for NA seat from South Punjab, Vehari has further said that priority has been given to the seasoned and undisputed aspirants. He acknowledged that some vested interests are the beneficiaries in this process.

To a question on seat adjustments with PML Q in Gujrat he said that those who are opposing the decision are less in numbers.
