KARACHI Anns Ali of Sunset Club and Ahmed Aslam of Karachi Club moved to the final of boys under-18 singles of the second Essa Muhammad KTTA Ranking Table Tennis Championships after winning their respective semi-finals played late Wednesday evening here at the PSB Karachi Centre. Ahmed Aslam defeated Akber Shah of Islamia Club 11-7, 13-15, 11-7, 11-6, 12-10 and Anns Ali scored 11-5, 11-1, 11-8, 11-3 win over Hamza Ahmed of Creek Club in the semi-finals. In the meantime, the secretary of KTTA Shaukat Omari has invited Farrukh, who has been criticising the KTTA for charging entry fee for the championship after announcing that there will not be any entry fee, to join the KTTA in organising Inter-firm TT Tournament. He said there had been some kind of misunderstanding on the issue of charging entry fee. He said that Rs 50 was being taken as token fee and not as entry fee.
