LAHORE - All Pakistan Lawyerss Representative Convention is being held here on today (Saturday) under the auspices of the Lahore High Bar Association (LHCBA) in which a large number of lawyers will participate from across the country. The convention will start at 11am in the premises of the Lahore High Court Bar. The representatives of various High Court Bars, District and Tehsil Bars, and Supreme Court Bar and members of the Provincial Bar Councils are expected to participate in the convention. The speakers at the convention would deliberate upon topics ranging restoration of the 1973 constitution with particular reference to the 17th amendment, constitutional committees recommendations regarding appointment of judges, rule of law in the country and independence of judiciary. masses cry The masses are crying for basic needs but there is no one to take care of them. These views were expressed by Hafiz Ibtisam Elahi Zaheer Nazim-e-Ala Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith Pakistan in the address of Friday prayer. He said it is the duty of the government to provide basic necessities of life to people but government is not performing to fulfill needs of the masses. He said the government led by feudal cannot solve the problem therefore all the religious parties should unite and work for enforcement of Nizam-e-Mustafa.
