LAHORE – Member Federal Council of PPP Dr Zia Ullah Khan Bangash has said that President Asif Ali Zardari has set a historic precedent by addressing parliament for the fifth time in office.
Addressing a gathering of PPP workers from Northern Lahore at his residence after hosting a reception, the former MPA and member of FC stated that the hue and cry raised by PML-N during the Presidential address was reflection of its frustration as it had been politically isolated due to its anti democratic stance.
Dr Bangash said that the language used by Shahbaz Sharif against the elected head of the country was highly condemnable and proved that political isolation of PML-N was constantly tormenting its leadership.
The reception was also attended by former President of PP-143 Shahid Sulehri, Arshad Mehmood, Liaqut Shah, Abdul Rasheed, Zahid Mian, Shabir Mughal and others.
