Eight devotees were killed and nearly 60 others were injured when a bus fell into a ravine in district Jhang,  police said Tuesday. Several injured were registered critical, doctors said. Initial investigation said the accident occurred due to speed. Several injured said the bus plunged into a ravine while taking a turn at Darbar Mai Baap for homage in Haveli Bahadar Shah. Police said that the bus was heading to Sakhi Sarwar was full of pilgrims from Jaranwala. The driver lost the control of the bus and fell into ravine. Rescue 1122 reached immediately and transferred critically injured to District Hospital Jhang. Other wounded devotees were shifted to Rural Health Center Haveli Bahar Shah.
