LAHORE – The 6th death anniversary of legendary film actor Muhammad Ali was observed on Monday.

Muhammad Ali was born in Rampure, India on April 19, 1931. After partition, his family migrated to Pakistan and settled in Hyderabad, Sindh, and after some days, they moved to Multan. He passed his Matric from Millat High School, Multan and moved back to Hyderabad. He passed BA from City College Hyderabad. His first film was ‘Charagh Jalta Raha’. However he got his breakthrough as one of the successful actors of his time through his film ‘Khamosh Raho’ in 1964.

He passed away on March 19, 2006 and was laid to rest in Lahore.
