Astonished traffic cops did a triple-take when they saw these three trucks weaving down a highway in China.

Cargo firm boss Sun Lin was trying to save money on drivers and toll fees in Laian, Anhui province, central China. So he had them loaded piggy-back style one on top of each other and then tried to manoeuvre the moving traffic pile up more than 100 miles to his trucking yard. “I wasn’t going to pay three sets of tolls or for more drivers so I got the seller to use a crane to load them on top of each other,” he said.

“They were perfectly safe until the police interfered,” moaned Sun, who was fined the equivalent of £500 for having a dangerous load.                          –ON
