ISLAMABAD  - National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) Chairman Khalid Saeed tendered his resignation Monday. Saeed was holding the office though his four-year tenure expired on February 15, sources said. A spokesman for the Nepra confirmed his resignation, saying that

the resignation was dispatched to Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.

However, he said the authority chief would continue serving unless the resignation was accepted.
