Pakistan ties very important: White House

As the Parliament in Islamabad prepared to debate recommendations on a viable way forward in Pakistan-U.S. relations, the White House underlined the importance of the bilateral cooperation including the Pakistani help in elimination of al-Qaeda militants over the past several years. “Our message hasn’t changed, which is that we consider that relationship very important, not least because of its importance to our national security interests,” President Barack Obama’s spokesman Jay Carney said.
