RAWALPINDI - Chairman Punjab Education Foundation (PEF), Raja Muhammad Anwer, has said that PEF has included and sought cooperation of commercial institutions and private entrepreneurs in welfare process of 1,300,000 children studying in its partner schools, which has provided an encouragement to the deserving students.

He underlined the need that Pakistani companies should extend assistance for eradication of illiteracy and ignorance by contributing in promotion of education under the Commercial Social Responsibility (CSR).

Raja expressed these views while addressing a function held in PED Regional Office on Monday to distribute school bags, provided by a telecom company, among students of PEF partner schools. Head of Public Relations and Marketing Mobilink Pakistan Hussain Talib and owners of partner schools also attended the function.

PEF Chairman Raja Muhammad Anwer lauded the distribution of schools bags by a private telecom service to the students of foundation and said that the best way for implementation of CSR was to do investment on the construction and built-up of youth of the country. 

Terming provision of quality education as best investment and national service, he said that commercial institutions and entrepreneurs could serve the society best by playing their role in promotion of education.
