LAHORE - Young doctors and pharmacists yesterday staged a protest demonstration against dismissal of a pharmacist Fareeha Majeed for allegedly not signing bills of additional amount against the wishes of administration.
The demonstration was arranged by Young Doctors Association Pakistan, Young Pharmacists Association, Reformers Pharmacists Association and IPF United Pharmacists, outside Punjab Institute of Cardiology.
The protesters led by YDAP office bearers Dr Samra Majeed blocked Jail Road outside the PIC, causing worst traffic jam in the heart of the city at peak hours.
They chanted slogans against the PIC administration and demanded restoration of sacked pharmacist.
