Chief Minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the Pakistan Super League (PSL) teams to play eliminator rounds in Lahore.

In his tweet, he said, “Warm welcome to Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings to Lahore .. Hope playoffs happen to be most exciting .. home crowds, home grounds and amazing display of cricketing skills will make PSL3 all the more fun .. Go and enjoy the matches :)”

Three teams Karachi kings, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators will play two play-off matches in Lahore today and tomorrow at Gaddafi Stadium.

Today's match is scheduled to be played between teams Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators.

Shops and offices near the stadium will remain close for almost three days due security reasons.

Nearly 18,000 security personnel will perform their duties.
