The Interior Ministry has accepted the plea for security for former president Pervez Musharraf upon his return to Pakistan to appear before the special court in the high treason case, reported Radio Pakistan.

In a notification, the ministry responded to the plea by Musharraf’s lawyer asking him to provide itinerary of his applicant as well as his stay in Pakistan so that necessary fool proof security arrangements can be made well in time.
