Ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today said he is thankful to Allah Almighty that Aamir Liaqat Hussain joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf instead of his party.

He commented outside the accountability court that PTI is only for the people like Dr. Aamir Liaqat Hussain.

He avoided the question asked about Chaudhry Nisar.

He was accompanied with his daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif and his Son-in-law Capt (R) Safdar when he appeared in the court today.

Former Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) lawmaker Aamir Liaquat Hussain yesterday made a formal announcement regarding his decision to join PTI.

Liaquat, who is a televangelist and TV host, formally joined the party in a press conference alongside Imran Khan and other PTI leaders.

"I had no more place. PTI was my last resort," said the outspoken TV host.

Veteran film and TV actor Abid Ali who was also present in the press conference announced his decision to join PTI.
