RAWALPINDI -Scores of units of blood were collected from donors at the Police Line under Sundas Foundation supported “Martyr Inspector Mian Imran Abbas Blood Donation Drive” on Friday. Besides senior and junior police officers, City Police Officer Muhammad Ahsan Younas, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rai Mazhar, and DSP Headquarters Azhar Hussain Shah donated blood. Rehan Abbas, brother of Mian Imran Abbas, also participated in the camp as chief guest. The blood collection camp was organised to donate blood to the children suffering with Thalassemia and cancer patients. According to a spokesman of Rawalpindi police, blood donation camp was held to pay rich tribute to sacrifices of Inspector Mian Imran Abbas Shaheed. He said so far a total of 600 police officers and jawans donated the blood units in the camp.
