LWB 8119 is not a number or a tag on an Egyptian mummy in Cairo Museum but the registration number of a police, four wheel drive, that made a mockery of the traffic rules in DHA Lahore on May 14, 2015. It broke all traffic laws, as it went down Walton Road and the Defence Main Boulevard junction, till it took a right turn to its destination, the Police Station in S-Block DHA. It had black tinted glasses, prohibited by law, to conceal the identity of the men in uniform; it flouted the lane discipline, in full view of the motorists on the busy road, moving from the right lane to extreme left and back. It violated the red signals, while the traffic wardens ignored them. I wonder if the City Traffic Chief will take any notice and conduct an inquiry at such blatant behaviour.
