LAHORE - The Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) on Friday stated that there had been no power outages in the country during Eid days. According to the Companys statement, the PEPCO supplied 660MW electricity to the KESC. The hydel generation for the last 24 hours was 5662MW, thermal 837 with IPPs and RPPs share stood at 3438MW and 30MW respectively. It stated that the electricity shortfall remained zero during Wednesday and Thursday. Meanwhile, the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) also claimed that there was no loadshedding of gas during the last three days. The SNGPL would announce a new gas loadshedding schedule for industry and CNG stations within a week while it vowed that there would be no loadshedding of gas for domestic users during the whole winter.
