KARACHI (PPI) - A meeting of the Sindh Prisons Department, presided over by Sindh Prisons Ayaz Soomro, decided to build Rest Houses in all jails across the province. It also decided to setup ladies and juvenile wards in all the prisons, however, the Rest Houses and ladies and juvenile wards would be established at Larkana, Sukkur, Khairpur and some other jails in first phase and later in all the jails. Sindh has already 27 jails but the meeting decided to build jails in all the districts and on priority basis jails would be constructed in Kandhkot and Qambar. Minister directed to turn the wards of different jails into library or maintain them as memorial place.
