Myopic rulers brewing poverty, says Daniyal

Our Staff Reporter SARGODHA - Jeevay Pakistan Jeevay Maqami-Hakumat (JPJM) Chairman and former National Reconstruction Bureau (NRB) chairman Daniyal Aziz has stated that people are dying with hunger and compelled to sale their children owing to abject and unprecedented poverty. People are finding it hard to make both ends meet due to skyrocketing prices of daily-use items while on the other hand, the rulers are snatching even the loaf from the public to pay interest on loans borrowed from other countries. JPJM Chairman Daniyal Aziz expressed the view while addressing the JPJM convention held here in Sargodha here Saturday. The former NRB chairman claimed that prevailing uncertainty and worst condition had forced people to recall the significance and fruits of the local governmental system. Daniyal Aziz argued that both the federal as well as provincial governments had no vision or programme to facilitate the masses and mitigate their sufferings, resultantly highly educated youth were wondering here and there in search of employment. The JPJM chief disclosed that his party would organise conventions in Sukkur and Multan, adding that after the holy month on Muharram, the movement would be spread across the country. Daniyal Aziz said that the number of influential families which was 22 had risen to 500 which were prevailed over the poor and oppressed classes of the country. He further said that myopic attitude and wrong policies of the politician the rich had become richest while the poor become poorest, adding the visionless and self-centred politicians were strangling democracy and had made people lost their faith in the democracy. Earlier, former district nazims of Sukkur, Haripur, Kasur and other districts of Punjab, Sind and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa addressed the function.
