KARAK Karak Qaumi Tehreek Chief Organiser Dr Imran has resolved that they will not let the elected representatives to usurp the rights of people of district Karak anymore, saying that the royalty funds misuse would be checked. He was addressing at a public gathering organised by the tehreek here on Saturday. He informed that they would form separate committees for monitoring of the government departments. He said the people of district Karak had equal rights in respect of the oil and gas royalty funds. He said the fund was being distributed on likes and dislikes criteria by the elected representatives, which was condemnable and liable to accountability. He said the formation of the tehreek was to create awareness among the masses about their rights and resolved that the exploitation of the poor masses would be stopped at any cost. He added that accountability of the each and every penny of the royalty fund would be made from the elected representatives and the district would be put on the track of development. Former MNA from district Karak and Pakistan Muslim League (N), KP, Youth Wing President Shamsur Rehman Khattak stressed that jihad against corruption was the need of the hour. He said the elected representatives should be the servants of the masses instead of making exploitation of them. He added that change without political struggle was not possible and extended full support to the Tehreek. Former district president of Jamaat-i-Islami Maulana Samiur Rehman said that corruption of the departments have reached to its peaks and added that the broken roads, streets and schools were eyewitness of it. He stressed that the real problems of the people should not be made as a tool of politics and added that it was the responsibility of the elected representatives to resolve it. The JI leader resolved that they would not bow before the cruel and asked the people to raise voice for their rights. He appreciated the Qaumi Tehreek for voicing against cruelty and resolved to support the tehreek. Provincial leader of Jamaitul Ulema (F) Hafiz Manzar Javed advocate stressed in his address that the people have to stand against ongoing corruption in the district. Political worker Haji Qamar Gul on the occasion said that they would not let any one to do politics on drinking water anymore and resolved that they would defeat the capitalists in the upcoming general election. Qaumi Tehreek Organiser Gul Zaib also spoke on the occasion.
