ISLAMABAD - Islamabad thrashed Peshawar Region by 9 wickets in the Pool C round six match of the Inter Region/Departments U-19 One Day Tournament here at National cricket ground on Monday.
Put into bat first, Peshawar were bundled out for 105 in 29.4 overs. Khushdil Shah made 37. Atif and Naeem Shahzad took 3 wickets each while Azeem Bari got two wickets.
Islamabad achieved the target in 15.5 overs for the loss of one wicket . Umar Kiyani made unbeaten 51 and Saud Shakeel added unbeaten 28.
