Malik warns of more terror attacks in coming days

ISLAMABAD  - Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that Karachi and Quetta are being targeted through organised campaign and more terror activities are expected in the coming days across the country.
Talking to media persons here on Monday, he said that a third party was involved in the violent activities in Karachi and other cities during Muharram.
He instructed the Chief Secretaries of all the provinces and law- enforcement authorities to park the motorcycles half kilometer away from Imambargahs, and added that cars must be parked a kilometer away from the religious gathering points.
Rehman Malik also ruled out sectarian divide in the country stating, “there is no sectarianism in Pakistan and everyone is Muslim.”
He said that the party has authorised him to take steps for ensuring protection to public lives and properties.
He claimed that law-enforcement authorities have traced the elements involved in Karachi killings and they would be booked soon and breakthrough in this regard was expected within a couple of days.
Malik said that after Nov 30th, all unregistered SIMs would be blocked.
