RAWALPINDI Decision has been taken for retrenchment of teaching and non-teaching staff in all the schools at Rawalpindi under rationalisation policy.
The approval with regard to retrenchment campaign was accorded in a meeting held here under Executive District Officer Education Rawalpindi Qazi Zahoor ul Haq.
The meeting was organized in Government Girls Higher Secondary School No Bagh-e-Sardaran.
Headmasters, principles and district and Tehsil officers of education department attended the meeting.
As per decision taken in the meeting, More than one PTI, one clerk, one AT and gardeners, chowkidars and Naib Qasids work in any school will be declared surplus and they will be appointed in any other school. In the same vein, retrenchment scope will be extended to male and female SST, ST and PST teachers and in this respect lists are being prepared.
This move has sparked embarrassment among all categories of teaching and non-teaching staff working in the schools operating in the district.
