Giving back to the nation!

A non-serious and careless attitude of Sindh Government towards the deaths in famine-hit Tharparkar is making history. Everyday children are dying due to hunger and diseases but it has no effect on the insensitive elected members of the Sindh Assembly. National and international media has focused on these deaths. Everyone by now knows of hunger and disease and how it is killing the weakest. The Sindh Assembly’ discussion on ‘Dimagh ki dahi,’ useless statements, when they could do something for the betterment of the country, seems a waste of our hard earned tax money!
It seems they have signed a contract for ‘five years’ to make fun of their voters, for when the nation faces any calamity the members of our assemblies’ are seen discussing irrelevant matters. The truth is that these rich elite are safe behind their high walls, surrounded by police protection, killing anyone who even comes close to their motorcades, while the poor die in thousands every day of hunger and bomb blasts. No one takes any responsibility for anything but they claim to be the rulers and accept all the perks that go with their position while giving noting back!
This laughing and cheerful assembly must be declared something else, please don’t call it the ‘house of public representatives’ because when people are dying they are concerned about sea food and protocol. People did not elect them to have fun and enjoying themselves nor for making fun of their pain and problems but to resolve their issues. There has been no action taken by them to help the poor, only projects such as Metro which is for a selected few.
