LAHORE - PTI Punjab organiser Chaudhary Sarwar yesterday alleged the ECP for failing to hold free and transparent polls even in the second round of local bodies’ polls.
Talking to media, Sarwar accused the election body of setting new records of poll irregularities in the second phase of local bodies’ elections.
“Only fraud elections can be expected under the supervision of the incumbent ECP and bureaucracy which is following dictations of the provincial governments,” he added. “PTI has been demanding the deployment of Army and Rangers inside and outside the polling stations from day one to ensure free and transparent polls”, he said.
