Two killed in Charsadda clash

CHARSADDA - At least two men were killed and two others injured in an armed clash between two groups over a minor issue in Charsadda on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Saifullah s/o Said Jamal and his cousin, Musa s/o Tamash Gul. The injured, identified as Siyar Ahmad s/o Said Jamal, a resident of Gul Abad Sardher, and Ijaz s/o Shehzada, a resident Gul Abad, are under treatment at a local hospital and their conditions are stated to be stable. The armed incident took place between two groups last night over a minor issue.

Siyar Ahmad, brother of deceased Saifullah, told to the local police that Ijaz entered his house around 8pm while they were having dinner and opened indiscriminate fire at him and his family. As result, his brother, Saifullah, died on the spot and he and his cousin, Musa, suffered serious injuries, adding that Musa died on the way to hospital.  

The police have registered a case against Ijaz, a member of the attacking group, under the section 302, 324 and section 452.

Similarly, Ijaz in his statement told the police Saifullah, Siyar Ahmad and Faheem had entered his house and opened fire at him. As a result, he suffered serious injuries.

The police have registered a case under section 324,452 and 34 against first-party. The police have launched investigation for further details.
