Ambassadors of three Islamic countries called on Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana at Governor’s House here on Sunday.
Those who called on the governor included Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Said Al-Malkiy, Turkish Ambassador Muhammad Sadil Babur Gargon and Tajik Ambassador Sherali Jononov.
Speaking on the occasion, the governor said that Pakistan’s relations with all neighbouring countries, including Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Tajikistan, were based on mutual respect and cooperation. Rajwana stated that CPEC project will give a big boost to Pakistan’s economy and foreign investors had already started making heavy investments here. Ambassadors said their countries attached great importance to their relations with Pakistan. They also praised Pakistan’s economic vision, saying it was attracting foreign investment not only for its prudent policies but also because of its best diplomatic strategy. –Staff Reporter
