Islamabad - Non-permanent employees of the Capital Development Authority will soon avail health insurance facility, said the officials on Sunday. Practical steps for health insurance of non-permanent employees have been started. Health insurance is part of our strategy to uplift living standard and working conditions of the low-paid employees of the Authority, said Member Administration, CDA, Muhammad Yasir Pirzad while chairing a meeting to review welfare projects for low-paid non-permanent employees of the Authority. Senior officers of the Authority attended the meeting.  

According to the officials, Executive Director Capital Hospital while briefing the meeting said that process for health Insurance of CDA low-paid non-permanent employees has been initiated. The health insurance scheme will be restricted to muster role and daily wages employees only. The employees intending to avail health insurance facility will submit their application to Executive Director, Capital Hospital as December 30, 2017 will be the last date for submission of the applications. He told the meeting that on account of Health ensure facility, an amount of rupees 200 to 300 will be deducted from the monthly salary of the employees.

Furthermore, Building Control Section (BCS) of CDA issued 109 building plans approvals, 32 completion certificates and approved 124 cases of NOCs/commercialisation charges/additional charges during the month of October, 2017. Building Control Section received Rs87,920,140 as fee under above-mentioned heads during the month of October. BCS-I approved 33 cases for approval of building plans during the month of October. Similarly during the same month, 14 cases for completion of certificates and 45 cases commercialization charges / NOCs were also approved by BCS-I and received Rs71,657,795 during the month of October against above said approvals.
