HAFIZABAD-The physicians and surgeons as well as paramedical staff of District Headquarters Hospital and Trauma Centre must be courteous towards the patients and provides them best possible medical treatment to win public trust and blessings of Almighty Allah.
Hafizabad Deputy Commissioner Saleha Saeed underlined while addressing a meeting of District Health Review Committee here the other day. The Deputy Commissioner stressed that medical profession is the most sacred and the doctors and paramedics should work with dedication and come up to the expectations of patients.
She said that the doctors should work as a team to serve the ailing humanity, adding that she would encourage and appreciate honest and dutiful personnel, warning that zero tolerance would be shown against those found negligent in the performance of their duties.
District Health Authority CEO Dr Hamid Rafiq informed the meeting that 100 percent medicines are being provided to indoor patients, operation theatre, emergency and gynaecology wards patients free of cost. Moreover, EPI programme is going on successfully.
